Subject: MSM--the Bee Charmer

Having recently watched _Fried Green Tomatoes_ again, I'd like know if any 
of you have any background information (how did she prepare etc.) about the 
_Bee Charmer_ scene, in which MSM seems to go beyond the normal call of 
duty and put herself in a rather dangerous situation. I'm assuming she 
really did walk into the swarm, and it wasn't a special effects sequence -- 
it certainly didn't look that way.
