Mary Stuart Masterson may be best known for her tomboyish roles in Some Kind of Wonderful and Fried Green Tomatoes, but in this series she's a single mom who changes her life when she ends up working for a community advocacy center. Masterson is joined by Rhea Perlman (Cheers) as lawyer Abbie Schaeffer, Chicago Hope alum Hector Elizondo as center director Joe Almeida and Gregory Smith and Mason Gamble play her teenage sons. Since they aren't shying away from prayer and spirituality, think of it as Judging Amy meets Touched By an Angel.
