Dog Agility
the most fun you can have
with your collar off
Glad you made it this far. Dog agility is a competition, but personally, Clyde doesn't take it very seriously at all. While most handlers work hard at directing their dog through an obstacle course, Clyde usually chooses to ignore Vicki and Jim. Most of the time Clyde has no idea he is racing a clock. Instead, Clyde is out there to have a really good time, and to be happy.
Along the way, Clyde might jump a few hurdles, scale ramps, burst through tunnels, traverse a see-saw or work his way through a line of weave poles. Or maybe not.
Scoring is based on faults similar to an equestrian jumping show. Dogs are ranked by size, and course difficulty increases with the proficiency and confidence of the dog and handler. Luckily, Clyde and his people are not very advanced, so the courses are pretty simple.

Mostly, this page will be pictures of Clyde, and maybe a couple of his sisters, Zephyr (a whacky border collie); Sarah (a smooth collie mix) and Phoebe Snow (an American eskimo). We don't have any photos of them doing the sport, yet. ![]() Zephyr
