Have a family pass to the zoo here. We take a quick ferry ride to the zoo which sits on the harbor. Recently
the zoo just got 5 new Asian elephants. The boys were sooo happy to be there to see them the first day in their new
enclosure. It was big news around here!

| It is an amazing place! |
Today is November 4th. We set our clocks ahead for spring last weekend.
Since you all set yours BACK that changed our time difference. I didn't think about this when I tried to reach my Mom
at 7am the other morning and accidentally reached her at 5am. As she is an early riser, she was quite pleased (hahahaha).
Sorry Mom!
Things are swell here. Jennifer's students all made it back from Spring
Break--they went everywhere! Japan, Fiji (just before the issues began!), New Zealand, Tasmania, and all over Australia.
They also brought back a variety of germs so Grafton, Andy, Zach and all the students have been ill the last few weeks
We have recently returned from Cairns the city where we stayed to access to Great Barrier
Reef. We had lots of fun adventures there last week with Jen's sister, Nicolle. We were surprised on our arrival
to find NOT white sandy beaches but estuaries with signs along the promenade warning of crocodile sightings. See some
of those very beasts below! We look forward to our next trip to Mooloolaba and New Zealand in the next two months.
And then..... HOME!

In order to reach snorkel/dive worthy areas of the reef we had to take a boat out to
open waters. The boat anchors and everyone enters off the boat. Grafton and Zach got right out there! Grafton
did such a fantastic job with his snorkeling. He used a noodle for assistance. He took the lead swimming with
purpose toward the fish and pointing excitedly.
