View back up river from the ruins of a small Anasazi dwelling. The raft is barely visible behind some trees at center, low. I had been in the duckie that morning - with no thermal protection on.  Only my feet got really cold, except when we were cashing thru waves in some of the rapds. When I got water over me, my breathing would lock up for a second or 2.
