RIVER DATA

bullet

Kinchafoonee Creek

The float would be over two sections.  Section 1 looks to be about 11.5 river miles and starts at the put in bridge on GA hwy. 118 (about midway between Smithfield and Bronwood) and proceeds down to Prison Road bridge which is a little over mid-way of the float.  Section 2 appears to be about 9 river miles and covers from the Prison Road bridge on down to the take out at GA hwy. 32 bridge near Leesburg.  The sandbars start about a mile downstream of the Prison Road bridge and stretch about 3 miles.   Camping midway on that stretch would mean about a 6.5 mi. paddle (about 3 hrs.) to take out Sunday morning.
