Actual Trip

Seven men challenged the weather and the forest in 2003; all surviving with memories of big fires, awesome stew & chili & river burritos, daily hikes between 4 and 12 miles, trout skunking, waking each morning with the sound of a flock of turkeys clucking, discovering the value in using facts when making a point, hauling the carts around the lake, taking a mud plunge to save a backpack, loading the cars in freezing rain, seeing coyote, pheasant, grouse, Grey fox, deer, Russian black boars, and turkey.   See pictures of 2003 Hazel Creek Trip.
