Directions to Rick's house:

Hwy 400 to Haynes Bridge.   Turn left.  Stay on Haynes Bridge through 5 or 6 signals, until the road dead ends, maybe the 6th signal.  The dead end faces Alpharetta Baptist Church.   Turn left.  Go to 2nd signal (through the big intersection).  Canton Road.  Turn right.  Go 1/2 mile beyond the next signal (library on the left at the signal), looking for North Town sub-division.  Turn left into sub-division on North Trace, look for yellow house on the left 3 houses down.

Directions to Marina

Pick up US 23 north of Gainesville, proceed on 23 through Tallulah Falls and Mountain City and cross state line on up to Franklin N.C.  At Franklin take Hwy28 until it meets US 19.  Bear left staying on Hw28 to Fontana Village.   See second map for a close up of the Fontana area and where the marina is located

Coming in to Fontana Village, just before getting there, Hwy 28 comes to an intersection and stop at an unmarked road.  Bear right down that road and turn right again, I think near a swimming pool.  This will take you up a hill and up to a parking lot.  Proceed  to top of parking lot and then over and down boat ramp drive to marina.  You can park above the marina and will need to carry your gear a short distance down to the marina ramp.
