Question: I have a Dutch Warmblood who is branded, however, former owners did not have papers, etc. Is it possible to track down the lineage? The horse is about 12-13 years old and believed to be born in the US. Just wanted to know how to start researching this.

There is e-mail, fax, and phone access to the people at the American Warmblood Registry listed at the bottom of the page entitled, "Background and Purpose." The page says the registry has been in effect for 17 years, so there's a good chance they'll have something on your horse.
