I've been a photographer since 1968 when I got paid the handsome sum of $3 for a spot news photo in the our small town's weekly paper. Photography helped pay for school and has been responsible for most of the fun I've had since then. I've worked as a park ranger, a documentary photographer, a media producer, a photo services manager, a director of communications for a non-profit, a director of publications for a major university and a web development manager for the local phone company.

Besides lightning and weather related subjects, I also like landscape, panoramic and travel photography.
