| Don Stover
learned to play the banjo from his mother in Artie, West Virginia, where he was born in 1928. Don grew up and worked in the local coal mines, but the banjo proved to be his ticket out of the area. Don played with Buzz Buzby, the Lilly Brothers, and Bill Monroe.
