This service has three parts:
· The elimination of nerve interference through chiropractic adjustments.
· The teaching of basic health principles and chiropractic philosophy.
· Treating people in a caring, compassionate and loving manner.
People must receive chiropractic adjustments to become healthier. This being true, they must be taught that they need chiropractic care. People must also be taught how to find the path to health, not just the elimination of troublesome symptoms. It is of primary importance that I focus on the fact that I am here to serve my fellow man through chiropractic. I am here to provide a service to all, healthy or not. I know that people need my service in order to live healthier, happier, more productive lives. As people are going through the process of healing they also need and deserve to be treated with caring, love and compassion.
To properly teach people, I must define my chiropractic conviction. I must then communicate this conviction effectively and with consistency. My conviction is that God made our bodies with the innate ability to heal themselves. People do not become sick because of an unhealthy environment, but rather because of an unhealthy body that succumbs to that environment. Chiropractic is based upon the simple principle that the entire body is controlled by the nervous system. Therefore, any interference with the nervous system blocks the innate ability of the body to function correctly and creates an unhealthy body. Nerve interference is caused by vertebral subluxation complex. Chiropractic treatment eliminates the subluxation complex allowing the body to return to full function. When the body is able to return to full function it can then return to a full state of health.
The stated purpose of this office can therefore be as follows: To serve my fellow man by providing to as many people as is possible the elimination of nerve interference through chiropractic adjustments. This enables those who receive this service to have the opportunity to reach and maintain an optimum level of health.
