The Play Yard... a small licensed Family Child Care home in S.W. Berkeley.

The program offers young children the opportunities to delve into play, develop a healthy self-concept, and make friends. Children will explore and investigate the richness of back yard nature, and learn about the people and their work in the surrounding neighborhood. The environment at The Play Yard offers children a variety of natural and open-ended materials with which to create, construct, and use experimentally and dramatically. Children will work on short- and long-term projects that emerge from their interests and play themes. (Click on links to see photos of my program in action.)
