The Doors
To The Über Side (58 minutes, Light)
Pace Breakdown
Slow Walk |
13:28 |
Distance: 2.5 to 3.8 miles |
I came of age listening to the Doors, where jazz and blues came rolling into a transcendent and chthonic rock blend held together by Jim Morrison’s devastating vocals. My fondest memory is cruising down the street in my dad’s convertible, top down, Light My Fire (the long version) on the radio, driving as slowly as possible so the song wouldn’t end before I pulled into the driveway. This fabulous, hour-long wog only has a few jogging numbers in it, but it’s also a great ride. [You can make this a shorter wog if you eliminate Riders On The Storm, but why would you want to do that?]
