Taking over the reins from Psychedelia in the 70s, Progressive Rock explored musical space in every way imaginable, but mostly with complex chord changes, long solos of every stripe, and lyrics meant to be profound, undecipherable, or both. Trying to find Prog tunes with a consistent rhythm is a challenge, so these more woggable songs lean to the more conventional side of the spectrum. Still...here’s a distant early warning: one slip, and you’ll be nothing but dust in the wind, riding the scree.
