After coming back to the wonder-of-my-life's apartment, and noting her unhappy state in typing out regurgitation of socio-economic theory, so we snuggled, chatted about stuff (such as tonight with two very cool people), and talked about the subject of her papers. It was interesting, but I could barely stand, so after more much needed snuggling, I read some, she went back to writing, then I drifted off to sleep after a while. I just read some stuff about price setting and accounting, so that may have helped.
I then had a dream (don't worry, only brief description) that
I was in line at McDonald's, arguing with a guy about how money is just
an illusion - it only exists because we agree upon its value.
A: That's funny. so was the meal purchased also illusory?
S: Apparently so. I never got it.
They didn't have Coke, only Pepsi. I asked how this could be, if they considered themselves Americans. They laughed. It was kinda creepy. A girl in line was playing the part of 'generic film student', asked if I had spent a semester in Germany (due to the money conversation) - I said no, but my girlfriend had.
A: So Germans are automatically anti-money?
S: I have no idea. It seemed to make sense at the time.
So...great. I now have socio-anthro-economic theory, some of which
I don't even think is valid, implanted in my subconscious, which will apparently
be taking the place of the lesbian orgies about which I normally dream.
Thanks.
