1. Good work getting all the November QCs done. I didn't have to nag you even once. That's the way I like it!

2. SE - I. I'd like to brief your section on the valve control problems which have occurred over the past two weeks on Thurs. morning at 0740 in Room 7603. Please get as many people there on time as possible.

3. For everyone's information, S8G's waterbrake suffered a catastrophic failure at ahead flank. Something broke internally, leading to extreme vibration and noise (the waterbrake jumped 8 inches and it was audible in Bldg. 76). The S8G Plant is investigating for reduction gear, main engine and steam piping damage. This has a severe impact on the prototype training program and the S8G depletion program. I will keep you updated as I get more info.

4. The ward room Christmas party is scheduled for 10 Dec. I've only gotten two responses from Mark so far. I'd like to see you all there. The money is due into me by 12/5/88.

5. Good job keeping up with the Radcon Audit Program items. None are currently overdue, but the quality has been slipping - very few substantive comments. I find it hard to believe that both _________ and Mark are ____caring 4.0 in Radcon ___________________________ corrected unless they are _______________________.

The Incident was not reported to appropriate officials, and during a town meeting held in Saratoga Springs in December 1990 the DOE denied that any nuclear reactor accidents had ever occurred at the Kesselring site. The accident caused some steam generator tubes to rupture resulting in excessive radiation exposures at or near the bottom of the reactor. Workers are required to work in the reactor area under these conditions.
