Preceded in death by son, Clifford Carl Jr., he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edna M. (Tilley); son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth D. and Gwen of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Donna J. and Ted Tipton of Barberton; stepson and daughter-in-law, Paul W. and Phyllis Taylor of Norton; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Lula Romig of Dalton, Viola Speck of Bradenton, Fla. and Evelyn (Wayne) Kearns of Parkville, Mo.; brother and sister-in-law, Archie and Goldie Romig of Wadsworth; several nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Bessie (Bob) Diefendorff of Norton, and Mary Perrine of California. Funeral services Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Mills-COX Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, Robert Zahorn officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
