Lady Cat-Skin
	--------------

Her heart's packed in a walnut shell.
This incest is the love of hell.
A ragged gown, a dreadful smell,
she's flown, no time to wish her well.

	Wrapped in her many-cat-skin cape
she flees her father and his rape,
and none would take this strange girl home
to marry. Rootless, she may roam

for months to lose her past. She steals
potatoes from the fields to eat,
she gets no charity. She feels
the cold ground on her weary feet.

But she must leave this pointing place
where all know of her father's crime,
not hers, but she can't show her face.
She runs away with heavy time.
