Fairview Cemetery

that got shot in the Fairview Cemetery
by stalking robbers.

in North Bergen that you insisted
I take you to during my lunch "hour"
last fall so you could take
that last look at your sister's grave.
Remember, you made your cousin Billy
drive you from south Jersey
to my office in Jersey City.
You even wanted me to place a grave blanket
for Christmas, as if you would see it
or Alice would care, but I messed up
my car and couldn't oblige.
Now your latest thing is Dr. Kevorkian
and the Hemlock Society. How it's got
to be me, even though Mark is a chemist too.
How Marky Maypo wouldn't understand.
Whatever you do, you're not
going to the Fairview Cemetery
again.
