A Funny Guy
        ------------

        Uncle Maggot is a funny guy.
        He hides behind a window pane
        and peeks at all those passing by.
        We really do not think he's sane.

        But all the same, sometimes we stare
        at Maggot behind curtain lace,
        pretending that we do not care.
        Soft secrets with a juicy trace

        of gossip tipple from our lips.
        Was Maggot guilty of some crime,
        some horror, in the past?  He sips
        his Ripple, sips and wastes his time

        staring from his window pane
        at the people passing by.
        Nobody thinks that Maggot's sane.
        He's really quite a funny guy.
