Mouth of the Damned

This is the language of misery
and I am the mouth of the damned.
A fool may compelled me to recite his fate.
If I had any mercy, I'd give it.

I come from nothing, and nothing is strong.
My unspeakable presence, a curse
in an unwritten volume of unpracticed craft.
If you call me, you're braver than I.
I speak the language of misery;
my face is consumed by my mouth.
Heroes approach me and hand me their names.
If I had any mercy, I'd give it.
