Limb cutting crew at work
Limb lobbers were used to cut branches so chain saws could
be brought to bear. This worked well. A helper would grab the limb as
soon as it was cut and move it away. After the small stuff was gone
the chain saw crew would move in. Often the limb crew could keep well
ahead of the chain saws. This also minimized chance of injury.
