Unloading broken mile and whistle posts
Whistle posts and broken mile posts are off-load at Blue
Ridge. The railroad gave them to the volunteers who did the work.
Look carefully under the person on the crane and you can see one of
the rail clamps that keeps the crane from tipping over. This crane
was restored just for this work.
