Here I am with Patti Smith backstage at the Atlanta Civic Center, where I was the MC for the Nader rally.  I had the pleasure of introducing and later joining her on stage for a rousing version of People Have the Power.  I gave her and her guitar player a ride back to their Hotel that night, and as a result I tell friends, "I had Patti in the back seat".  Of course I quickly add that I'm just kidding, for I have total respect for her.  She is one of the greats in my opinion.
