Koz's Art

I have been scribbling on paper for most of my life, starting seriously around age 15. During High School and my first two years of college I churned out nearly 200 pages of comics, mostly inside jokes recording the anctics of myself and my friends for posterity. In these comics I developed the imfamous Koz, a thoroughly obnoxious, self-centered altar-ego of mine who was so rotten he was funny. (Matter of fact its Koz who was on the button you hit to get here. ) In reality I am nothing like the Koz on paper, but as the comic stack grew, and I drew more and more of my friends into the "World of Koz", I became known as "The Koz" In Real life as well. So even though in the comic Koz was dark, obnoxious, and often downright vulgar , he is still one of the favorite characters I've invented so I continue go by his name RL.

Anthropomorphic Art has become my more recent passion, inspired by my interactions on several MUCKs online. My Furry art developed after my second year in college, after the classes involved in my Art Minor had started to make their mark. Consequently, it is of much higher quality than the World of Koz, although still retaining some of it style traits in its earlier forms. My furry style has continued to grow over the last year or two though and now is a completely seperate category in my portfolio, a blend of realism and 'toonish stylism. I kinda like it. =)

I take great pride in the fact that my Furry art is clean, a rare thing indeed when compared to the piles of pornography spewed out by most the other furry artists online. Not a single picture of mine has to lean on the sexual crutch, all standing on their own composition and draftsmanship. Most of my pictures tell a story from my adventures online, the continuation of my role as "self appointed chronicler" from "The World of Koz". As a result, I can get into the composition and relive a goofy or dramatic moment as the picture takes form. To me this is the reason my art seems to work as well as it does. It is also the reason I have turned down so many comisson offers. Its no fun to draw unless I've been there.

Well I hope you enjoy my artwork. Most of what is on this page is over 2 years old now as I stopped uploading after some "gentleman" decided to alter one of my pictures and repost it. Hopefully I will be adding to the collection soon. I need to find a free scanner! =) Until then, take care and have a good one!

The non-default fonts used in this page are DupuyLight, a font that's similar to comic strip printing, and Elwood, a shadow/outline type font similar to DupuyLight. If you dont have them go snag! Both are great and both are free! =)
