GeekFest 0100

According to Andy Damick:

Well, folks, it is TIME for another GeekFest.  Once again, you can meet
all kinds of nifty celebrities (like Kevin Neal's Amiga) and eat many
varieties of FREE MUFFINS.  The party, as always, is completely open to
anyone who hears about it, which means you and the beautiful woman (or
man, of course (yes, men CAN be "beautiful")) sitting next to you whom 
you are about to invite. 

WHEN: July 19th, 1996, approximately 18:00 hours

WHERE:  Kevin P. Neal's apartment

WHAT:  BYO* (This means that, if you want it there, you will bring it.  
       Pizza is often ordered, and FREE MUFFINS abound.)  Board games
       also seem to be a theme for this 'Fest.  A Genus II Trivial 
       Pursuit game WILL be happening.  Two-person teams will be forming.
       Rumors are that the Brothers Damick will be forming a team,
       and also that Lawrence Wobker and Nate Johnson will be doing
       the same.  Can't pass this one up, folks.  Also brought will
       be videos.  Bring videos.

TRANSPORTATION:  I, personally, Andrew S. "Gurk" Damick, will be driving 
                 as many people as I can fit into Evelyn, my 1980 Mercury 
                 Zephyr station wagon, from NCSU to the apartment.  I can
                 probably take about 6, I think.  Contact me if you want 
                 a spot.  The rest of you are ON YOUR OWN.

According to Me (I pay the rent, not Andy):

Other cool things happening at the party (hopefully) will be:

• The viewing of The Deathbed Vigil & Other Tales of Digital Angst
• The explanation of the PROPERTY PASS joke.
• We might come up with a good theme.
• Cool people from where I work might show up. With friends.
• Usenix playing cards. Need I say more?

As usual, my apartment is easy to find. Be there or don't. Also, be sure to dress lightly, cause it gets hot when the machines are on.
