Kimberly Wheaton has been creating art in the Durham, NC area for over ten years.  Originally a watercolor painter, Kimberly’s interests have shifted to acrylic and oil painting and mixed media work.  Through her artwork she explores the beauty of everyday living and connects with spiritual themes.  Her current series of work focuses on spirit houses and shrines crafted with mixed-media and found objects.  Kimberly also creates custom residential murals and commissioned paintings.
