ABOUT SHARYN WARREN, LCSW
Quietly maintaining her private counseling practice, Sharyn searched for ways to open doors for her clients. Over the years, many of Sharyn's clients became labyrinth walkers. It was there that Sharyn began formulating ways to assist people in "conscious walking," and guiding them in their own personal discoveries. Techniques such as "focused walking" shows walkers how to harness the mind and redirect the flow of their energy. "Four Fold Path" is a process for gathering and directing insights gained through walking the labyrinth and how to apply them to everyday life.
Sharyn has been practicing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy and counseling for 25 years. She has conducted numerous retreats, workshops, and seminars related to personal possibility, happiness, growth, and healing. In recent years she has led hundreds of people through labyrinth seminars and retreats. She is committed to creating experiences of mind/body/spirit unity that respect the integrity and uniqueness of each individual, and to the realization of connection to others, the whole of life, and that immanent, transcendent something we call "God."
Sharyn maintains a private practice in Cary/Raleigh, North Carolina and conducts "Walking the Labyrinth" training and counseling in groups and on a one-on-one basis

PERSONAL NOTE
My work moves more and more into recognition of the unique pattern of every person and a convergence of bio-psycho-spiritual concepts of health, happiness, and healing. Working with the labyrinth is very private and individualized. Walking a labyrinth with others also affords an opportunity to feel connected, and part of a meaningful whole, transcending the sense of isolation and lonliness that sometimes accompanies our life's journey.
I have witnessed lives changed, hearts healed, joy restored, purpose and focus return time and time again, as people work with the labyrinth. I have seen surprise and wonder transform cynicism and doubt. Working with a labyrinth can be very powerful in healing psychological and emotional issues that have been "stuck," in creating clarity, a sense of being centered and focused, in bringing new insights, and releasing grief and loss.
