HELLO! WE ARE LAURA, TALLEY, AND EVAN. We admire your strength and courage as you consider open adoption. We have experienced first-hand the amazing blessings that come through open adoption for everyone involved. We would love a chance to talk with you!

OUR FAMILY… We met in college, became friends, and soon fell in love. We share a passion for life, commitment to family, and an active faith in God. We dated for 6½ years before getting married and have been happily married for 8 years. We have a deep unwavering love for each other. In 2003, a very special woman made our dreams come true by giving us the most precious gift -- our son, Evan. We formed a bond with Evan’s birthmother and her extended family that has remained strong. Through open adoption, we gained not only an amazing child, but also an extended family. We remain close to Evan’s birth family with letters, emails, pictures, cards, and occasional visits. Laura had the honor of being a bridesmaid in Evan’s birthmother’s wedding in July 2006. We treasure our relationships with Evan’s birthfamily and are excited at how our family will grow with a new birthfamily. We have dreamed of having another child to love and cherish, and we can’t wait to hold him or her in our arms! Having both grown up with siblings, we want Evan to have a brother or sister. Evan loves to play with other children and lights up when friends come over to play! As a family, we love to share in daily walks, reading, singing together, playing ball, and outings to the nearby zoo and playground. Laura is also fluent in Spanish and is teaching it to Evan. OUR HOME… We have lived in Atlanta for 6 years. We are fortunate to be in a family-oriented neighborhood with many children that has an enormous park at its center. The park contains the Atlanta Zoo and a playground, which is the focus of activity for neighborhood children each afternoon and weekend. On our daily walks, we usually run into someone we know. Laura loves being a full-time Mom, and she and Evan make regular trips to the nearby Children’s Museum and Botanical Gardens, and are part of a weekly neighborhood playgroup. Our church and community have welcomed Evan into their lives. Everyone is excited to join us in welcoming another child.
