Mortgage
An interest in land created by written instrument providing security for the performance of a duty or a payment of a debt.

Security Agreement(chattel mortgage)
A mortgage on personal property as security for an obligation or debt.

Satisfaction of Mortgage
Document signed by the mortgagee indicating that the property subject to the mortgage is released or that the mortgage debt has been paid and all terms and conditions of the mortgage have been satisfied.

Quitclaim Deed
The transfer to another of a title right or claim.

Warranty Deed
A deed in which seller warrants good, clear title and an assurance that the property is as represented.

Partnership Agreement

Proof of Claim In Bankruptcy
Statement under oath filed in bankruptcy proceeding by a creditor who sets forth the amount owed.

Durable Power of Attorney
The feature of the durable power of attorney is that it provides authorization to handle the affairs of the principal including healthcare notwithstanding a later disability or incapacity of the principal.

Revocation of Power of Attorney
The withdrawal or recall of a grant of power of attorney.

Claim of Lien
A claim on property for payments of an unpaid debt contracted for the furnishings of labor, services and/or materials.

Release of Lien (construction)
The giving up of lien claim on property by one party in exchange for payment of lien by other party.

Waiver of Lien
A written agreement to waive all rights to claim any liens for work done and/or materials furnished.
