A
new surfacing with edge walls helped hold back the grade
and make a level space for a refined garden area close
to the kitchen and living rooms of the house. The photos on the left
show the "before" conditions and ones on the right are"after"the
installation. Some of the "afters" are immediately following
construction; the last 3 were taken a season later, when the owner had
added annuals and perennials.
