This front view shows the steering off. The wheels in this picture
are turned as far as they can go. This is not too good of a
turning radius. But dragsters dont have too good of a
turning radius anyway.
I used some old Technic steering wheels for the front wheels,
the rubber on them comes from (believe it or not) an umbrella.
They were rubber grips for the handle.
The steering system is rather interesting. The height
of the gears and struts needed to do the system was taller
than the height of the dragster at that point. I made the
system as low as I could but that made it the same height
as the dragster. After a little more work, I fit it in, but
all that is connecting the front airfoil section to the rest
of the dragster is two plates. One over the steering system.
and one under. Isnt Lego engineering great!
