6/21/96    Last weekend, my brother, my dad, and I decided to go waterskiing for Father's Day.  We were at the boat landing beginning to drive away when my dad noticed a man who was having trouble getting his boat onto his trailer because he was by himself.  So my dad turned our van around, trailer and all, and went down to the water to help the man.  The point is, the man was struggling, and my dad delayed his own fun in order to help someone else.  My dad does random things like this all the time to help other people.  That is why I am writing about his Random Acts of Kindness because he is too humble to ever do so.

6/22/96    My boyfriend and I went out west for two weeks, but my car broke down in New Mexico.  We ended up in a small town called Gallup.  Needless to say we were not very happy about the problem, but we tried to make the most of our stay.  To make things even worse, it rained in New Mexico for the first time in two years the one day we are there.  The people at the Chrysler dealership were so incredibly nice.  They drove us to a hotel and picked us up the next day.  That may be part of what they are supposed to do, but they were so eager to help and with such nice attitudes.  The next day, after they took us to my car, it was my boyfriends idea to go and buy them doughnuts to thank them for being so
hospitable.

6/12/96    I was in a little store with my friend and I had no money.  I really, really wanted something to drink, but my friend wouldn't lend me any moola.  We got into a little skirmish, then a nice man handed me two dollars.  I bought my drink, and I drank it.  It was the best drink I'd ever drank.

6/9/96    On August 17, 1993, I placed my son up for adoption. It was extremely difficult, but my family was there for me. I had 10 days to change my mind and get my son back. On the tenth day I picked the phone up and dialed 9 numbers. I couldn't dial the last one. The couple had been so excited about him I knew that they were going to be wonderful parents.

6/4/96    Once last year I found three  bucks on the play ground and turned it in to my teacher.
