| This page contains links to several Dixon documents. I will be adding more as I get them converted to HTML files. I would also like to include a list of Dixon, Dixson, Dickson researchers and URL's to their home pages as well as E-Mail Addresses. The Dixson Descendants chart contains the line from the Dixson brothers in New Hanover County as early as 1734. This is proven by wills that I will post here in the next few weeks. The Jonothan King Dixon Descendants chart shows know descendants deciphered from land records. I grew up on land that was granted to Jonothan King Dixon in 1780 for service in the Revolution. That service is shown by the Halifax Document that is shown here as well as land grant records. The problem: Jonothan King Dixon cannot be tied into the other Dixon line (yet) where he obviously belongs. I am sure that is true because of the location of the land, and the names of the descendants. I am beginning to think that the only solution will be to trace out all descendants of all the sibblings. A huge task! If you are a Dixon, Dixson, Dickson researcher (why else would you have read this far?) I'd love to have your input. | |
