This collection of poetry is a direct result of a very childish game of if-you-can-do-it-we-will-do-it-better. Our male counterparts Joe, Lee, Mike, Alex, Chris, and Nuuj produced a collection of all-male poetry called Liquor Box.* I felt that I and the other participants of Hello Girls...* had been wronged. Purposefully and meaningfully left out in the cold. this, of course, was not true but did, nonetheless, prompt me to hound my female friends for their work. Oh joy! My friends turned out to be oh-so motivated. I asked Joe how he had gotten the guys to contribute. His reply; "You've got to stay on their ass and beat them until you get the work." Words of wisdom, I soon found. Eventually Elvis safely delivered all the work to me and I present you with the following.
What you are about to read is the result of a group of extremely talented artists, writers, and photographers (all procrastinators) messed up, psychotic, neurotic lives to date. Enjoy.
