Our Alumni and 9.11.01
On September 11, 2001, nearly three thousand people
perished because
they represented America,
boarded an early plane,
worked in New York or in Washington, or
because
they were valiant enough to
risk their lives for their fellow humans.
Among those who perished were eight Msgr. McClancy Alumni:

A Memorial Mass was offered for these alumni, and each has been awarded Msgr. McClancy's highest recognition, The Cor Jesu Award, which was presented to their families in October 2002. A memorial concert is held at the school each year to fund a scholarship in their honor.
