Film Club: Mr. Bart Mastronardi, Moderator: The club has been busy making them and viewing them!
Student Council: Mr. Chris Tonkin, Moderator: The Thanksgiving drive, Lenten drive, school dances, and dress-down days raised a great deal of money to help the less fortunate. The Tsunami collection is also directed to the poor!
The Literary Magazine: Tune up your iambic pentameter! The eighth annual poetry reading/writing contest featured original poems, presentations, singing, and music as well as an ambiance of the fine arts! Winners were Manny Lopez, Christian Pina, and Ivan Fernandez in the Junior-Senior Poetry Club Members Division;Nick Aliventi, Matthew McLaughlin, and Dandelion Dilluvio in the Junior-Senior All-Comers' Division; Fernando Navarette, Max Tamburino, and Leon Pinhero in the Freshman/Sophomore Division! Entertainment this year was superb, featuring singers Dandelion Dilluvio, Fernando Navarette, and Mikolaji Lis; pianist, Michael Demauro; along with Andrew Ramsingh and Chris Pizzolo on the drums and guitar. The 2004 edition of our Literary Magazine, The Phoenix will publish all the poems! Some of our poets will attend Adelphi University's Poetry Contest in April. Give it a try--a poem, a play, a story.
Dramatics Club: "The play is the thing!" This year, under the direction of Brother Ron Travers, the players acted the play Inherit the Wind.
Newspaper: Mrs.T.Busso, moderator. Among the writers are Kevin Milau, Fernando Navarette, Patrick Fierro, Chris Pizzolo and others.Check out the paper's new website The Sentinel.

Library Club: Sister Margaret Faherty, CSJ, moderator. There are ten secrets to being a successful student: 1-10: read! read! read!,etc. The Library club members assist in the many tasks of running a library and media center.

Poetry Reading Night
Spanish Club:Cervantes, Velasquez, Goya, El Greco, Zurbaran, Murillo, Picasso, fabulous culture, nice people, ole! Several members went to Spain, Portugal, and Morroco to practice language skills and soak in the Spanish culutre. They also made a trip to Rome and southern Italy, enjoyed by all. Another was to London, Paris, and the French Riviera! Two trips, one to Germany and one to Greece were earlier!
Italian Club: Mrs. Tenaglia, moderator. Petrarch, Leonardo, Boccacio, Dante, Michaelangelo, Titian, Verdi, fine arts, history, wonderful people, the Pope, and great food! Let's go! Saint Joseph is a favorite saint of the Italian people. The Italian Club has a special Mass in Italian around March 19 in honor of St. Joseph!
Ski Club: Mr. Gerry O'Riordan, moderator: Skis will be in use once this year. Pray for snow next year!
Chess Club: Mr. Neil Gianelli, moderator. The chess tournament is raging throughout the school these days.
The Computer Club: Brother Lucien, S.C., moderator: Recently, the club was seen disecting computers and fixing computers and printers for those in need!
The Skateboard Club: Brother Bryan DePorres, S.C., moderator: This is the newest additon to our clubs. Expect some ups and downs and a whole new vocabulary.
