Regents ADVANCED Diploma Requirements: An average of 90 in all the basic tests plus Language, a second science, and a second math test.
Grades in Regents Tests required for a Diploma are 65 or better; an advanced Regents requires a 65 in 8 required Tests. An Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors requires a 90 average in these 8 Regents Required.

Regents/School Diploma requirements: 4 credits (years) in Religion, English, Social Studies; 3 in Math; 2 in lab science (3 for graduating class of 2005 and after); 2 in PE; 2 in language; 1 in fine arts. There must also be two sequences of 3 credits in two of the following areas: math, science, foreign language, business education, fine arts in your 4 year schedule; regents tests are not requied except where noted. Seniors must have 7 periods a day. All courses and regents requirements must be passed to graduate.
Regents Basic Test Requirements: a 65 OR BETTER IN Regents tests for: 1 Lab Science; Global Studies 2; Math A; American History and Government; English plus 22 credits:English 4 credits; Social Studies 4; Math 3; fine arts 1; health 1/2; 3 in lab science; 3 in foreign language; 2 physical ed. 2 sequences (additional tests in an academic area for the Advanced Diploma) are also required.

College Credit is available for qualified students in Junior English, Junior Business Law, and in Senior Calculus, English, Advanced Biology, Business Law, and for Juniors or Seniors in Drawing and Painting and 3-D Design. Honors Programs are available to qualified students in English, math, social studies, and science during all four years.
Mimimum Scores Required to Avoid Remedial Work at CUNY- SAT Verbal 480, Math 480, English Regents 75; Math B Regents 75 FOR SUNY and CUNY, the more regents the better!

Regents Tests are generally taken as follows, but there may be exceptions and tests may be taken over to pass or increase scores:
Science: Regents test in one lab science -1st year in June, Other in June of appropiate year Mathematics Regents- Math A -2nd year in January, Math B in June of 3rd year Global Studies Regents -2nd year American History and Government Regents -3rd year English Regents -3rd year Language Regents - January or June of 3rd year Have a 65 in each of six for a Regents Diploma Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation requires a second math and a second science Regents test. An Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors requires a 90 average in these eight Regents Tests.
