Your membership in the Montgomery County Historical
Society will
help us with the tasks of restoring the 1837 Figh-Pickett House
and in starting and maintaining a collection of historical
papers, books, and photographs for research purposes there. Your
membership, after the restoration is complete, will help us
achieve our goal of establishing a museum of Montgomery City and
County history.
We hold at least two membership meetings a year with excellent
speakers. Members receive our quarterly newsletter, The
Herald,
which is filled with stories of local history.
