Q1. Can I visit the Equifax web site anonymously?
A1. Yes, you can visit the Equifax site anonymously
and download certain information without providing any personal identifiers.
Q2. Does Equifax use any technology such as the "cookies"
process to automatically identify your e-mail address or any other visitor-specific
identifying information as you visit the Equifax web site?
A2. No. Equifax does not use "cookie" technology. Equifax

a statistical count. If you fill out the electronic order form for a credit

A4. The application data is used to verify your
identity if you are ordering a credit report or, in the future, some other
product or service from Equifax. We maintain the data as a regular customer-service
record just as if you had called or written for a copy of your credit report.
Equifax does not disclose (sell, rent or provide) the personally identifiable
data to any third party for any marketing purposes. Equifax may use the
data including postal address and/or e-mail address to send promotions
for Equifax products and services.

credit card companies and lenders so that they can offer you pre-approved
credit through the mail.

via e-mail or postal service?
