Mitch Deutsch (6i)

Over the years, I've spent most (if not all) of my free time with two neat hobbies: sailplanes and Z-cars.

I've been involved with sailplanes for thirty years and have had a blast, meeting some very neat people and, of course, enjoings thousands of wonderful flights. When the weather is not just right for playing in the sky, I enjoy hanging around with fellow motorheads and tinkering with the third generation Nissan Z-Cars.

Here are some links to some of my favorite sites:

The Internet Z-Car Club has lots of info on all models within the entire Datsun/Z-Car movement.

Twin Turbo.Net is an active internet-based group dedicated to the Z-32 generation of the Z-car.

Georgia Z-Car Club is my "home club" and has almost 250 members. The focus is on having fun. Inteerst is focused bewteen the Z-32 and the older generations but as of late, a dozen members have purchased the new 350-Z. There are many beautiful examples of the entire spectrum of z-cars, including some very customized cars.

Georgia Soaring Hall of Fame touts the history of soaring in the State of Georgia, with histories of all the current and past soaring clubs as well as the 2002 inductees Shelly Charles and Lin Bachtell.

Mid-Georgia Soaring Association (MGSA) is one of the largest clubs in the country has a nice complement of sailplanes for the exclusive use of its members. The Club flies each weekend year round when the weather permits. Besides flying, the camaraderie of the club-sponsered social events are an important part of the fun!

Soaring Society of America (SSA) is the "official" national organization of USA's soaring movement.

Soaring Server is a great place to get a lot of detailed information on all aspects of soaring.
