This casserole is a nice heat and eat quickie with a
Mexican flourish

NACHO CASSEROLE - Serves 6:

1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion chopped
1 lb. refried beans (commerical or otherwise)
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar
1-1/2 cup shredded monterey jack
1 cup taco sauce (mild or hot - I like the hot)
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 can sliced ripe olives
1 avocado, mashed
1 cup yogurt cheese (or sour cream)

  Brown beef & onion, drain.  Spread refried
beans in a 9x13 oven proof dish.  Top with
meat & sprinkle with chiles, the cheeses.
Drizzle with taco sauce.
  Bake at 400f for 20 minutes.
  Sprinkle with green onions & olives.  Mound
avocado in center; top with yogurt cheese. 
Serve with tortilla chips.
