Lets' see... its not Surf and Turf really . . . How about
"Shell and Beak" ???  At any rate these two strange
bedfellows make an unusually good casserole for a bunch of
friends.  

SHRIMP AND CHICKEN CASSEROLE - Serves: 10

1 (2-1/2 to 3 lb) frier
1 tsp salt
1 lb unpeeled shrimp
2 (16 oz) broccoli cuts,thawed
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (10 3/4 Oz) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 (10-3/4 oz) can cream of celery soup, undiluted
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar 
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp butter, melted
paprika

  Combine chicken & salt in a Dutch Oven: add water to
cover: boil.  Cook 45 Min or until tender. Bone chicken
into bite size pieces.
 Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, add shrimp for 3-5 min,
Drain and rinse, Peel & devein.
  Spread broccoli in a greased 13x9x2 baking dish. Combine
mayo, chicken & celery soup, lemon juice & pepper, spread
about 1/3 over broccoli. Set aside remaining sauce. 
Combine chicken & shrimp; spread evenly over casserole, &
top with remaining sauce.  Cover and chill up to 8 hours. 
Cover and bake at 350~ for 30 min.  Uncover and sprinkle
with cheese.  Combine breadcrumbs and butter; sprinkle over
cheese.  Bake an additional 15 minutes or until hot and
bubbly. sprinkle with Paprika.  Garnish with shrimp and
parsley sprigs.
