PREPARATION: MARINATE OYSTERS IN WASABI MIXED WITH CREAM (8 HOURS). DRAIN OYSTERS. LIGHTLY COAT WITH BREADING. FRY IN HOT OIL (350 DEGREES) UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. LOWCOUNTRY PEPPER SAUCE INGREDIENTS: 2 BELL PEPPERS 1 CUP CIDER VINEGAR 2 CUPS WATER 3/4 CUP SUGAR 1 OZ. CHOPPED GARLIC 1 OZ. GRANULATED SUGAR 1 OZ. TABASCO SAUCE 1 OZ. TOMATO SAUCE 1 TSP. SALT PREPARATION: SEED AND DICE PEPPERS. IN LARGE SAUCE POT ADD ALL INGREDIENTS AND BRING TO A BOIL (10 TO 20 MINUTES) UNTIL PEPPERS ARE SOFT. PUREE ALL INGREDIENTS IN BLENDER, RETURN TO SAUCE POT. THICKEN SLIGHTLY WITH CORN STARCH. LET COOL. STORE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. |
