Come see the paradise
if only for an hour

- G. McLennan

"Oooo, more pictures on the Web that don't mean anything except to the person who posted them. How positively... uh, original."

Intergenerational decadence

That wasn't really what you were thinking, was it? Was it? Please?

Aww, fuck it. Here they are anyhow. Gotta use up this space I've paid for on the Mindspring server somehow.

I want two pots of gold, dammit

Most of the pictures on subsequent pages are of places I've been and people I've hung with during the period of 1993-1997. I had a modest-sized collection of pre-93 pictures - some of them might be quite conversation-provoking today, like the one of me playing drums with a rock and roll band in college - but they disappeared when I got divorced in 1992. For all I know, they're landfill somewhere now. And around the beginning of 1998 I just lost interest in using a camera, an interest I haven't regained to this day. I just... don't feel like taking pictures anymore. Even if it takes 1000 of them (and it usually does, in my typically verbose style), I'd rather use words than pictures.

Anyway, here's some documentation from the time when I did feel like wielding a camera - and sometimes the results of others' camera-wielding, too.
