to despondent (here having just been dumped by girlfriend, Frog Farm Hot Springs, Nevada, July 1999*)

I'm a guy who likes the company of women (shown here with the main ones in my life at the time of USF graduation, July 1992 - left to right: soon-to-be-ex wife, mother, and sister).
I'm a guy who likes to get a little dressed up now and then (at Burning Man spin-off event, Austin TX May 2000).
But more than anything, I'm a guy who just likes a walk in the woods now and then - or the mountains, if they're handy (Yosemite, June 1994).
Or the desert, if they're not (Leave No Trace training, Black Rock Desert, NV, May 2000).
