Lost
Loadies 2001, Page 1: Friday/Saturday
A lovely time was had this year. Smaller group by far than 1999, and the weather held perfectly all Saturday and Sunday. Here's what it (and we) looked like:
Friday
morning: OK, we're here. Now where the f*** is everyone else?
| The beach, before the sun came out. |
| The Mattole River lagoon, ditto. |
Saturday
morning, Loadie-Land North: No, we don't have a collective thing for white
cars, what makes you ask that?
Industrious
diox-ians. Hello to you too, Dawn.
| Down at the river-channel: any minute now the tide's gonna come over the sandbar and flood the river. |
| Yup, annnnnnny minute now... |
"OK,
you stay and wait for the damn tide. We're going back to camp and
eat all the marshmallows."
| Heroic Matt, dramatic backdrop. |
