This page is to document my Baseball for Windows Replays. I have completed 1950-51-53-54-55-56-57-58-59-60-61-62-63-64-65-66 and 69, and using Ron Bernier's new Recap program have linked those replays to this page. My next projects are 1941and 1967.
First the ground rules . My replays are conducted using Miller Associate's Baseball for Windows. The data disk was created using Advanced Draft and Fanpark Encyclopedia for Windows, by Miller Associates. Players were carded for each team they played for and Wizard was used to normalize players that were traded between leagues. The actual pitching rotation and schedule was used as provided by Miller Associates. Actual lineups were used from boxscores purchased from Gerald Parsh. Attempts were made to keep player usage to no more than 110% of the actual at bats and innings pitched. I personally managed all Braves and Senators games and one of Steven Galbrath's MicroManagers handled the rest.
If you are interested in using actual boxscores in your replays, Gerald Parsh is a great economical source. At last count he had 1920,27,30,34,35,41,44,45,46-95 available and offers discounts for multiple seasons. Gerald will also sell boxscores by league only.
