information. Every photographer has a different style of shooting and uses various lighting techniques,  resulting in quite a difference in the quality and character
of the images captured.
Below is a little information about my
approach to wedding photography.

 The approach
is personal and relaxed. Prior to the wedding day I
discuss with clients my level of involvement, types of shots, posed vs.
candids, and how much B&W vs. color is desired. Any combination of traditional portraiture with informal and candid
shots is offered, always with an eye for the artistic or simply just fun
shots.
I arrive several hours before the ceremony, and
cover the entire event, including the reception,
getting departing shots of the bride and groom. |

Personality - Most find my demeanor to be easygoing and patient.
I do
not assume a
take charge attitude, though I'm more than happy  to suggest or share information on
what's
traditional or expected. The bride and groom need time
with each other,  their
families, and their guests. The goal is to balance candids and unobtrusive
photography, with the need of getting specific shots desired by the bride and groom.
Engagement
pre-wedding photography is also
offered. A number of different approaches are possible for this session, from very formal
to quite casual.

 Techniques - You may
have already noticed that I'm partial to natural light sources. A big
advantage of working with natural and existing lighting is that it minimizes
the equipment necessary. I will not drag in carts of gear, which can slow
things down as well as clutter up the place.
Pricing / Coverage - Weddings are photographed
beginning to end, with two photographers, myself and Julie. We
offer a mix of candids and photojournalism, as well as any traditional
portraiture desired, offering both color and B&W. Packages start
at $2700 in the Atlanta area, and include all the original
photos in albums. We do enjoy travel, and will gladly offer quotes. Feel free to call or email with your specifics. |
